LCM stands for least common multiple and HCF stands for highest common factor.

Value of LCM is either equal to the number or greater than it...

Value of HCF is either equal to the number or lesser than it...

LCM can be found by individual prime factorising method or group factoring method...

HCF can be found by factorization, prime factorization and division methods.
