lcm of 20,30 and 40 

=>prime factoristaion of 20 = 2*2*5

=>prime factoristaion of 30 = 2*3*5

=>prime factoristaion of 40 = 2*2*2*5

lcm = 2*2*2*5*3

         = 120

 hcf of 20 30 40

=>factors of 20 =1,2,4,5,10,20
                                        
=>factors of 30 = 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 30

=> factors of  50 = 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50

=>10

difference = lcm -hcf

                    = 120 -10

                       =110
