The heart muscles are otherwise called as cardiac muscles. The muscles at limbs are called as skeletal muscles. Involuntary nature is one of the properties of cardiac muscle, which means they are never in control of human will. Skeletal muscles can be controlled by humans (voluntary).

2. The limb muscle is “non-striated”, whereas the cardiac muscles are striated and have high rate of contraction.

3. The limb muscles may subjected to wear and tear where as the heart muscles will never experience any muscle tear.
