If we consider Indian Politics, both the terms Marxist and Liberalism have very deep meanings. Karl Marx always laid stress on his conflict theory. In simple words, he said that society is composed of two kind of people - HAVEs (bourgeoisie)and HAVENOTs(proletariat). HAVEs are basically those people in the society who are very well off, they have great social status, good income and have a good and luxurious lifestyle. The HAVENOTs are those set of people which are devoid of the above mentioned privileges. He further states that HAVENOTs are always exploited by the HAVEs following which there is conflict between them which leads to a social revolution and then there are new sets of HAVEs and HAVENOTs . An example to recall, around 1977 when emergency(which is an epitome of exploitation) was imposed in the country, the HAVEs had became extremely powerful, then there was a revolution and a new sets of HAVEs came to the political power. He believed that the conflict political perspective produces a portrait of society which is strikingly different from any other form of society. He believed that such political perspective portrays society as always changing and marked by conflict. The conflict Marxist theory stresses on the inequalities and regards political society as a system made up of individuals and groups which are always competing for resources. These groups may form alliances or co-operate with one another, but underneath the surface harmony lies a basic competitive struggle to gain control over the resources. This is very prevalent in bizarre coalition governments, where parties of clashing ideologies come together for the greed of power.
