what is the difference between ligament and tendon what are their functions

tendons and ligaments  are  connective tissues but df is that tendons are tough and hard and they attach muscles with bones  and ligaments are strong but flexible and join bones with bones and with joints

The difference between ligament and tendon is:-
Ligament connects two bones with each other,and this only is his function also.
Tendon connects the bone and the muscles with each other,and this is his function also.
