What is the difference between lime and lime water? (Because lime juice is acidic and lime water is basic)

Answer:

Lime water is Ca (OH)2 dissolved in water while lime juice is about 5% citric acid in water plus very small amounts of other substances. Lime water is basic while lime juice is acidic.
