What is the difference between luminous and non luminous objects

Luminous objects are those which emit their own light, for ex.:sun, stars, bulb etc. Non-luminous objects are those which donot emit their own light, for ex.:wood, plastic, moon

Luminous.
Objects that are capable of giving out light by themselves are called luminous objects.

Non - luminous.
Objects that do not emit of their own light are called non-luminious objects.
