I think IP address is an Internet protocol address which is an identifying number for a piece of work hardware

MAC ADDRESS

  • MAC - Media Control address.
  • It is a unique 12 digit hexadecimal number assigned to each Network Interface Card.
  • Can never be changes
  • Example :- 00.A0.C9:14:C8:35

IP ADDRESS

  • IP - Internet Protocol address.
  • It is a numerical label that is assigned to a device participating in a computer network.
  • Can be changed.
  • Example :- 192.168.0.2
