What is the difference between making of food by leaves and making of food in the kitchen?

plants make their food by the process of photosynthesis with the help of sunlight,co2,chlorophyll and water and minerals collected by the root.  

but we cook food and we cook many varieties of food.we add many flavours to the food.we go to market buy fresh vegetables and the ingredients for the food,we cook food with help of heat and fire for more taste but plants do not do so.
