The main difference between male and female reproductive system is:-

Male reproductive system produces and delivers sperms to the female reproductive system whereas female reproductive system facilitates fertilization and develops the baby.

Furthermore, penis, scrotum, seminal vesicles, vas deferens, prostate, and Cowper’s gland are the structures of the male reproductive system while vagina, cervix, uterus, Fallopian tubes, ovaries, and mammary gland are the main structures in the female reproductive system.

Male and female reproductive systems are the organ systems responsible for the production of gametes, fertilization, and development of the embryo into a new individual in higher animals.

2. It is located outside the body and around the pelvis region, to maintain the temperature required by the sperm to stay healthy.

Female Reproductive System

1. Female reproductive organ functions in producing ovum and when get fuse with the male gamete , produces the young ones and nurture it till the full growth before birth.

2. It is located entirely inside the body, with entry and exit points at the vulva, and separate openings for urination and menstruation.

3. Hormones produced are Progesterone and Estrogen.

4. It contains important parts like vagina, clitoris, urethra, perineum, cervix, uterus, Fallopian tubes, mammary gland, etc .

5.It produces ovum and Recieves and fertilize the male sperm. It provides nourishment to the newborn by secreting milk in mammary glands (breast).

6. It can diseases like genetic abnormalities, infections (sexually transmitted disease), cancers, autoimmune disorders, infertility, endometriosis.
