The key difference between malnutrition and undernutrition is that, in malnutrition people get enough food to fill the stomach but the nutrition content of the food is comparatively low which makes them suffer from nutrition deficiency diseases. whereas in undernutrition people are not able to fill their stomach which leads to hunger death and nutrition deficiency disease. Nutrition deficiency disease can be caused both from undernutrition and malnutrition.
