What is the difference between mass and weight describe it properly

the main difference is that the mass of a body remains same every where but the wait of the body doesn't remains same every where

mass is the amount of matter present in a body.
weight is the force acted on a body the gravity.

mass is a scalar quantity
weight is a vector quantity
