Answer:

The weight of a body can be measured using a spring balance and a weighing machine. The mass of an object on the Earth will be same as that on Mars but its weight on both the planets will be different. ... It is a constant for every object falling on Earth's surface.

Answer

Mass

  • Mass is defined as the inertia of a body, that is ay you are in motion and wanna stop, so for that change on motion the body will give some amount of resistance known as inertia
  • Earlier it was sir that mass is equal to the amount of matter in a body

Weight

  • Weight is equal to the force that a body for a given amount of mass produce for an acceleration a
  • W = ma

When the object is taken to Mars

  • So matter is a constant and does not change anywhere, no matter if we were in earth, moon, mars, Jupiter etc....
  • Weight will change as we go to Mars. This is because of the change in acceleration (W = ma) and a varies as per the gravitational force of the planet
