A medicine may be any drug or other preparation for the prevention of disease. It may be a syrup, an injection, a tablet(or a pill or a capsule), spray, powder, or drop. A pill is solid medicine. It may be also called a capsule or a tablet as has been already mentioned. In a nutshell, I'll say all pills are medicines but all medicines may not be 'pills'.

Answer:

Tablets are made from granulate or powder ingredients that are tightly pressed together during manufacturing to make a hard pill. ... Tablet pills may then have more additives and non-active ingredients than liquid capsules. Tablets can be either coated with a sugar or film coating, or uncoated
