Meristematic tissues :

1. The cells are small, isodiametric and undifferentiated.

2. Intercellular space is absent.

3. Vacuoles are absent.

4. Cell wall is. thin.

5. Nucleus is large and permanent.

Permanent tissues:

1. The cells are large and differentiated with different shape

2. Intercellular space maybe present.

3. Large central Vacuole is present.

4. Cell wall maybe thin or thick.

5. Nucleus is less conspicuous.

Meristematic tissues have capacity to divide qhere permanent tissue do not have. Meristematic tissue have thin cellulose wall whereas permanent tissue has thick cellulose wall. ...
