metal are good conductor of electricity, sonorus, ductile, mellable because their electron are distributed uniformly
and non metal arent good conductor of electricity(except graphite) and they are not sonorus not ductile and not mellable because of uneven distribution of electron

Following are the differences between metal and non metal :
1. Metals have high density but non metal have low density.
2. Metals are sonorous but non metals are brittle.
3. Metals are malleable and ductile but non metals are neither malleable nor ductile.
4. Metals have shiny lustre but non metals are dull in appearance.
5. Metals are strong but non metals are soft.
6. Metals are good conductors of heat and electricity but non metals are poor conductor of heat and electricity.
