METALS-
1.they are lustrous that means they shows shine.
2. they are malleable that means they can be beaten to form sheets.
3. they are ductile that means they can be drawn into wires.
4. they are good conductors of both heat and electricity.
5. They are sonorous that means they produce a ringing sound when struck with any metal.
NON METALS-
1. they are not lustrous.
2. they are not malleable.
3. they are not ductile.
4. they are insulators (bad conductors of electricity). Diamond is the exception.
5. they are not sonorous.
