Meteorid is a small particle from a comet or asteroid obiting the sun and meteor the light phenomena which results when a meteorid enters the earths atmosphere and vaporizes, a shooting star and a meteorite is a meteorid that survives its passage through the earth atmosphere and land upon the earths surface
