Micro Organisms are forms of living organisms that cannot be seen by the naked eye. They can be seen with the help of a microscope.  Their sizes are in micrometers.  These are bacteria and fungi.   These can be consisting of a single cell or multiple cells. These are usually limited to a small geographical area.  Their life span could be just a few minutes. The time for new generation to grow could be in minutes.

Macro organisms are the life forms which can be seen with eye. Their sizes can be in terms of centimeters or meters.  Animals and birds are examples.  These can traverse a large geographical area. The time duration for a new generation to grow could be in months or years.

These also differ in the biological processes like drift, mutation, selection and dispersal.
