Meiosis has two rounds of genetic separation and cellular division while mitosis only has one of each. In meiosis homologous chromosomes separate leading to daughter cells that are not genetically identical. In mitosis the daughter cells are identical to the parent as well as to each other

Meiosis 2 is the second phase of meiosis and it results in the formation of haploid monad cells that is gametes. While mitosis is similar but leads to formation of diploid monad cells that is somatic cells

Meiosis 2 occurs in haploid diad cells while mitosis occurs in diploid diad cells.

Before mitosis the cell undergoes duplication of chromosomes while in meiosis duplication of chromosomes occurs only before meiosis 1 not meiosis 2. that is meiosis 2 is not preceded by DNA duplication while mitosis is.
