Hello Mate....

MOTION :

A body is said to be in a state of motion if it changes its position continuously with respect to its surroundings with the passage of time.

Example : A bus running on a road, a flying bird etc.

REST :

A body is said to be rest if it doesn't change its position continuously with respect to its surroundings with the passage of time.

Example : A book lying on a table.

HOPE IT HELPS
