Closing of the leaves in the Mimosa pudica: Mimosa pudica is a creeping type all season flower blooming plant of pea/legume category.

Leaves of the plant moves due to nastic movement.

The folding and recoiling of leaves results the mimosa pudica plant a lot of energy loss.

This is reported to interfere with its photosynthesis.

Memosa: When touched, this sensitive plant leaves are stimulated as there is a higher pressure imposed on point and the moisture present in the vacuoles of the cells of the leaf.

All the water escapes the leaf which then hang loosely looking to feel unpleasant..

This causes the leaves to close.

Movement of sunflower plant: In early morning, western side of the plant cells stem begin to grow and elongate, resulting the sunflower bloom to face to the sun.The sunflower plant contains auxins.

A type of hormones.

The auxins stimulate the growth of cells.

This make the stem to become heavier in the shaded region, so the flower bendin the opposite direction ie. towards the Sun.

At night, in absence of light, the sunflowers face back towards east again, anticipating the sun's rerising.

This is continued until they get old, when they stop moving.
