what is the difference between multiple cropping and mixed cropping? explain why these two methods are considered better from the perspective of food security.​

Multiple cropping, it is growing of 2 or more in one *ield

Mixed means in which 2 or more grown but one of them will be important

*Mixed cropping: Planting two crops in one plot to grow at the same time; we planted oats and rape. When the oats was harvested the rape plants grew in the stubble and were feed for our cows.

*Multiple cropping: Planting two crops in one plot in succession. One crop is planted early, harvested, and a second short-season crop is planted. Not common in todays agriculture in the US.
