if a is any real number,
1) a+(-a)=0
-a is additive inverse of a
or
a is additive inverse of -a
example.
i)3+(-3)=0
ii)5/2+ (-5/2)=0
2) a* 1/a =1
a is multiplicative inverse of 1/a or vise versa
i)4* 1/4 = 1
ii) -7/8* (-8/7) =1
