myopia is what usually, younger people have..
inability to see distance objects aka shortsightedness
they use concave lens
hypermetropia is usually in older, also seen in younger..
inability to see nearer objects, aka longsoghtedness
they use convex lens

Myopia is Near Sightedness and Hyper Metropia is Far Sightedness .
One is unable to see far in case of Myopia and Can,t see nearby. objects clearly in case of Hyper metropia
A Concave Lens is required to Correct a Myopic eye and a Convex Lens is required to Correct a Hypermetropic eye.
