Na+ will have one less electron because the + sign indicates a more positive charge because a negatively charged electron was taken away from it.

Na has eleven electrons but in order to get stable electronic configuration it loses one electron to form Na+ ion so,
Na=11 electrons
Na+= 10 electrons
