What is the difference between noble gas and a halogen

noble gas are the gases that has no valence means they completely fill their octet
halogens are the non metals that require one electron to complete it's octet.

hey mate here is the answer noble gases are inert means these does not react with any element or compound except some noble gases like xenon and their octet is complete but in case of halogen these are very reactive becoz of the reason that their octet is not complete one electron is less so they want to gain a electron so that they react very easily.
