Actually fusion means combination of two atoms/other to make a new fresh.
and
fission is just break down of atom/other in two new fresh.

Trick if there is one 's' it means result one
and
if two 'ss' it means result of two..

Hope it helps you.

2) Fission reaction does not normally occur in nature.

3) The energy released by fission is a million times greater than that released in chemical reactions, but lower than the energy released by nuclear fusion.

=============
Nuclear fusion:
=============

1) Fusion is the fusing of two or more lighter atoms into a larger one.
