What is the difference between orbits , orbitals , shells and subshells ?

Answer-- Orbitals within a shell are divided into subshells that have the same value of the angular quantum number I. Chemist describe the shell and subshells in which an orbital belongs with two character code such as 2p or 4f . The first character indicates the shells (n=2 or n =4).
