Oxymoron:
a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction (e.g. Faith unfaithful kept him falsely true).
Antithesis:
is a figure of speech which refers to the juxtaposition of opposing or contrasting ideas.
(e.g. Many are called, but few are chosen).
Transferred Epithet:
is a figure of speech where a modifier (usually an adjective) qualifies a noun other than the person or thing it is actually describing. In other words, the modifier or epithet is transferred from the noun it is meant to describe to another noun in the sentence.
(e.g. A careless match a scornful eye the weary road wide eyed amazement).
