The difference between the pass and the plain are.....

Pass is a router road found in hilly areas to cover the split ends..They are usually found in high areas.
Examples - Banihal pass , Rohtang Pass .

Plains are flat lands with a huge area . They usually are found on deep ground

Examples - Indo - Gangetic Plain , Terai.
