What is the difference between passive voice and indirect speech

✒passive voice is used when the focus is on action .It is not important or not known,however who or what is performing the action.
:-
subject + finite form + past participate
:- The window was cleaned
✒When rewriting active sentence into passive speech ,Note the following :-
The object of the active sentence becomes the subject of passive sentence
The finite form of all the Verb is changed (to be + past participate)
The subject of passive sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is dropped)

✒If we report what another person has said ,we usually don't use the speaker exact word (Direct speech) but reported /indirect speech

Direct speech :- I love mangoes
Indirect speech :-He said that she loves mangoes

simple past
past progressive
past prefect simple
past perfect progressive
was/were going to......
