● Photonastic:- It is a movement that occurs due to change in light intensity. Its stimulus is diffused . It is a nondirectional movement.
e.g:- flowers of Oxalis, Portulaca,Nicotiana and Oenothera.

● Thermonastic:- It is a movement that occurs due to increase in temperature. It is directional movement.
e.g:- flowers of Crocus and Tulip.

Difference between photonastic and thermonastic are...
1 . In photknastic there is a non directional responce to stimulus whereas in thermonastic directional response to stimulus.

2. photinastic independent on groth of plant whereas thermosnastic is dependent on growth if plant.

3. Example of photonastic is opening and closing of flowers.
Example of thermosnastic is response to light plants.....
