What is the difference between physical and motor development?

Motor development means thephysical growth and strengthening of a child's bones, muscles and ability to move and touch his surroundings. For example, if a child is able to crawl or walk (grossmotor skills), he can more easily explore their physicalenvironment, which affects cognitive development.
