plants prepare their own food whereas animals depend on plants
plants take in carbon dioxide and give oxygen whereas animals do vice versa during respiration
plants have cell wall whereas animals dont
plants have unlimited growth whereas it is limited for animals
plants can live for a long time compared to animals
plants grow above and below soil whereas animals grow only above the soil

Plants can prepare their own food while animals cannot.
Plants depend on environment in order to fulfill their basic requirements
whereas animals can fulfill them by themselves (though from envt. only}
