The difference between plant cell and animal cell are followed below:
Plant cell:
- The shape is rectangular and has distinct edges.
- ‘Cell wall’ is present.
- The nucleus is present in one side of the cell.
- Ribosome, cytoplasm and Plastids are present.
- There are few number of Mitochondria.
- “Amino acids, vitamins and coenzymes” are the products which plant cell can synthesise.
Animal cell:
- The shape of animal cell is round and irregular.
- Cell wall is absent.
- The ‘nucleus’ is present in the centre of the cell.
- Cytoplasm and Plastids are present. Ribosome is absent in animal cell.
- There are large number of Mitochondria.
- “Amino acids, vitamins and coenzymes” are the products which animal cell cannot synthesise.
