Gypsum is a naturally occurring mineral. Both plaster of paris and gamer contain hydrated calcium sulphate but their water content differs from each other . Gypsum is CaSO4·2H2O while Plater of Paris is CaSO4·0.5H2O. Plater of paris is prepared by heating gypsum which is a dihydrate
