What is the difference between playing for yourself and for the team ?

when we play for ourself our team can win also or loss also. But, when we play for team we definitely win.

That is a general question but i would answer it this way;

Playing for yourself means playing against yoursel with no oponent ,such games may include bedmilton,table tennis etc

Playing for the team basically means you are among others making a team and your team is facing another team like in football ,ruggby
