When a polymer is made by linking only one type of small molecule, or monomer, together, it is called a homopolymer. When two different types of monomers are joined in the same polymer chain, the polymer is called a copolymer.

Answer:

A Polymer is a very large molecule having high molecular mass formed by the joining of repeated simple reactive structural units (monomers).

Copolymers: A Polymer which is formed by the polymerisation of two or more chemically different types of monomer units. For example, Butadiene-Styrene polymer(Buna-S)
