Saying 'Beautiful' is the expression which comes from the inside. Saying 'Pretty' is the expression which comes from the outside. For example, if you say a woman is beautiful, you mean that she has a beautiful face, nature, etc. If you say a woman looks pretty, you mean that she looks pretty because of her dress or makeup.

Prettiness from the outside.
Example : Makeup can make you more pretty, but it can´t make you more beautiful .
Being Beautiful is something unique,while being Pretty is more general.
Example : If you are beautiful soul , gentle, kind ,people will see you as a pretty person.

Most people think that big eyes, long hair, long legs and a glowy skin makes you beautiful . So no , these thing makes you look pretty, but they don´t make a person beautiful.
Being BEAUTIFUL is a lot more important than being PRETTY. And you can't be ugly evr if you are beautiful inside.
