primary host is that in which the vector primarily completes its life cycle without primary host cannot enter in the secondary host if you take the example of malarial parasite plasmodium and plasmodium first enter the female Anopheles Mosquito then it enters into the human body without female Anopheles Mosquito it can't enter the human body thus human are the secondary host for it
