what is the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells

prokaryotic cells
nucleus is not bounded by nuclear membrane.
It contains single chromosome.
Membrane bound cell organelles are absent.
Nucleolus is absent.
For eg. Bacteria and Cyano bacteria(blue green algae).

Eukaryotic cells
Nucleus is bounded by nuclear membrane.
It contains more than one chromosome.
Membrane bound cell organelles for eg. mitochondria are present.
Nucleolus is present.
For eg. Amoeba and Yeast.
