•identity we have to apply whenever needed but if its told to prove something then we have to prove it.
• In identity we have to understand and also learn it eg. ( a+b)(a-b)=a²-b². But if u wish to prove something in maths, then u need to understand the tricks and try to remember things related to the like some theorem can be asked to prove or eg. - prove that all the angles of a square r of 90°.
