Difference between bacteria and protozoans are:

  1. bacteria is prokaryotic whereas protozoans are eukaryotic.
  2. protozoans are primitive relatives of animals whereas bacteria are the first organisms to come on the earth.
  3. all protozoans are heterotropic whereas some bacteria are phototropic and some are heterotropic
  4. generally protozoans lack cell wall whereas bacteria have cell wall(not all but majority).
  5. protozoans examples are like: paramoecium,amoeba,plasmodium and bacteria examples are curd setting bacteria lactobacillus, N2 fixing bacteria nitrosomonas etc.
