What is the difference between radicals and moderates

Radical politics strikes at the roots of the present system and proposes fundamental change, like tearing down a house and rebuilding it. Moderate politics does not question the system and proposes only token change. That might be like changing out an appliance. Now if you believe the very studs or even the foundation of the house is unsound, you are a radical at heart. The only question remaining concerns the courage of your convictions and seriousness of purpose.

The key difference between moderateand radical is that a moderate is someone who holds moderate views and does not believe in extreme approaches whereas a radical believes and supports extreme views, supporting complete social and political reforms.
