Hi there ^_^
⬇⬇
Raster graphics, commonly referred to as bitmap images, are based on a grid of pixels and are non-scalable (there is a loss of resolution when the image size is changed). These bitmap images are associated with 'paint' or 'photo'.
Vector graphics are based on mathematical formulas, occupy lesser memory and are easily scalable (there is no loss of resolution when the image size is changed). These graphics are associated with 'drawing' or 'illustration'.
Hope it helps :)
