IRREGULAR REFLECTION - it occurs on rough surfaces

1) When all the rays reflected from a plane surface are parallel ,the reflection is known as regular reflection.
2)It takes place from a smooth or regular surface.
3) Images are formed by a regular reflection.
Irregular reflection:
1) When all the rays reflected from a surface are not parallel , the reflection is known as irregular reflection.
2)It takes place from a rough surface.
3) Images are not formed by irregular reflection.
