The word Remit means to send back. Remit to mostly used to express payment made to a person in exchange of a good or service.

Payments made to suppliers are called Remittances.

The word Ship to denotes sending of goods to a far away location by means of the water transport.

Example -

Remitting is an act of paying back for the goods delivered or sold by the buyer to the seller, the transaction may be through cash or cheque. Shipping is an act delivering goods and products from the producer or from the seller to the buyer, it may be done through various means of transport, it is mostly done before the payment for the goods.
