Remit to is used when someone sends in an invoice to a party, the details of the party to which the invoice is sent is what is basically in the records of the sender of the invoice.
Ship to is basically where the goods will be shipped.
The remit to and ship to addresses can be same, at times or at times, a person can have more than one addresses where the goods are to be shipped at times.
