Remote sensing is actually about getting information of a object or a area from very far place (distant place). These information are obtained mainly with the help of the satellites as well as aircraft. The data is get in the form of the image which is visualized or analyze later.
While GIS is abbreviated geographic information system and as the name indicate the geographical data is depicted in it ,in order to analyze the data. It is actually a computer software.
